Tunes In Time is a musical trio that has been playing throughout the Ottawa area for the last 12 years. The trio formed spontaneously one evening at a music jam in Ottawa. Rick McGrath, rhythm guitar and vocals, started playing a favourite song of his, “If You Could Read My Mind” by Gordon Lightfoot. Jim Bossert started in with the bass
Tunes In Time is a musical trio that has been playing throughout the Ottawa area for the last 12 years. The trio formed spontaneously one evening at a music jam in Ottawa. Rick McGrath, rhythm guitar and vocals, started playing a favourite song of his, “If You Could Read My Mind” by Gordon Lightfoot. Jim Bossert started in with the bass line followed quickly by Ed Sexton on lead guitar. By the time the song had ended "Tunes In Time" had been formed and they have been playing together ever since .

Our Influences
Tunes In Time is heavily influenced by the music of Gordon Lightfoot. We play this Canadian troubadour's music as close to the original as possible. Gordon Lightfoot once told us that we put a lot of energy into his music.and we bring that energy to each show that we perform. We also play Gordon Lightfoot theme shows.
